The 2.5x main lens with its wide 88-mm (3.5-in) diameter allows you to observe relatively large objects without moving the magnifier. A smaller inset lens is located closer to the magnifier arm. It yields magnification of 5x and allows you to study even the tiniest details of the observed object.
If properly used and cared for, the magnifier will serve you for many years to come, thanks to the sturdy materials used. The lens is made of quality optical plastic, comparable to a glass lens in its magnifying capabilities.
